Save a TikTok recipe you can actually cook from
Send a recipe video from TikTok into Stokd and get the ingredients, quantities and steps as an editable recipe you can follow at the stove.
FROM TIKTOK, ON IPHONE
Five taps, start to finish.
A TikTok recipe moves faster than anyone can cook. Ingredients appear as text on screen for two seconds, the amounts are spoken over a jump cut, and the only way to follow along is to scrub back with wet hands. Sharing the video into Stokd turns it into a list you can read at your own pace.
- Step 1
Open a video
Tap the share arrow on any TikTok recipe video.

- Step 2
Tap More
Open the full iOS share sheet from TikTok.

- Step 3
Add Stokd to Apps
Tap the green plus next to Stokd in the Apps list.

- Step 4
Choose Stokd
Tap Stokd in the apps row to send the video into Stokd.

- Step 5
See it in My Recipes
Your imported recipe now appears in your recipe list.

WHAT TO EXPECT
What Stokd keeps.
- What imports
- Stokd works from the video's caption and page, so the more the creator wrote down, the more arrives intact. Fast recipes told entirely on camera are worth reviewing once before you shop.
- Worth knowing
- TikTok's share sheet hides the system options one level down, under More.
- Editable
- Every imported recipe is a draft. Review the title, ingredients, quantities and steps, and change anything that does not match how you cook.
- Counts towards
- Your weekly import allowance. Stokd Free includes 5 a week, and chef ranks raise that at no cost.
ON ANDROID, OR FROM A BROWSER
Paste the link instead.
The share sheet above is the iPhone route. Anywhere else, copying the link and pasting it into Stokd does the same job.
- Step 1
Find a recipe
Browse any food blog, magazine, or cooking site. If it has a recipe, Stokd can import it.
- Step 2
Copy the page URL
Tap the address bar in your browser and copy the full URL of the recipe page.
- Step 3
Open Import in Stokd
Tap the Import button on the home screen, or go to the URL Import tab.
- Step 4
Paste and import
Paste the URL and tap Import. Stokd extracts the ingredients, steps and cook time in seconds.
QUESTIONS
TikTok questions.
Why do I have to tap More first?
TikTok shows its own row of sharing options first. The system share sheet, which is where Stokd appears, sits one level down under More.
Does this work on Android?
The flow shown is for iPhone. On Android, use TikTok's Copy link option and paste the link into Stokd's URL import.
The recipe imported with missing steps.
Short videos often carry only a partial method in the caption. Every import is an editable draft, so open it and fill in anything the caption left out before you cook.
OTHER SOURCES
Save from somewhere else.
SAVED, THEN WHAT
A saved recipe should lead somewhere.
Once the video is in Stokd it can be checked against your pantry, turned into a shopping list of what you are missing, and cooked from step by step. See how the whole loop works.
